The 4th Chaoshan International Textile and Apparel Expo (hereinafter referred to as “Chaoshan Expo”), jointly organized by the China Knitting Industry Association and the Shantou Textile and Garment Industry Association, and guided by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, will be grandly held at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of “Return to Chaoshan,” this year’s expo will combine professional exhibitions with a variety of activities to create an international event integrating fashion, industry, and culture.

As the opening exhibition of the intimate apparel industry in 2025, the Chaoshan Expo will cover an exhibition area of over 130,000 square meters, a significant leap from the 30,000 square meters of its inaugural edition. The expo will gather renowned brands, industry leaders, and emerging forces from both domestic and international markets, showcasing a full range of intimate apparel categories, including underwear, loungewear, and thermal wear. It will comprehensively display corporate brand images, the latest products, and cutting-edge technologies, solidifying its position as the “barometer” and “trendsetter” of the intimate apparel industry.

Seventeen domestic industrial clusters from cities such as Shantou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Dongguan will participate, bringing together over a thousand enterprises. The exhibition will cover the entire industry chain, from underwear and loungewear to thermal wear, socks, fabrics, accessories, and machinery. This is not just a product showcase but also a vivid demonstration of the collaborative development of the entire industry chain, highlighting the strong cohesion and comprehensive strength of the intimate apparel industry.

In collaboration with the China Fashion Association, the China Fashion Designers Association, and the China Knitting Industry Association, this year’s Chaoshan Expo will host the nation’s first Intimate Apparel Fashion Week. The event will invite global fashion resources and innovatively set up sub-venues at Shantou landmarks such as Xiaogongyuan and the Nan’ao Tropic of Cancer Marker Tower, deeply integrating fashion with urban culture to shape Shantou into a “Beautiful City of Fashion” and promote the development of the fashion industry.

The expo will fully leverage the resources of global Chaoshanese and overseas Chinese, partnering with internationally renowned institutions and associations to introduce global resources. By inviting global buyers, foreign trade enterprises, and cross-border e-commerce platforms, the expo will elevate its internationalization and build a solid bridge connecting the global intimate apparel industry.

In a deep collaboration with the industry-leading trend forecasting agency Diction, the expo will jointly release a global fashion trend report for intimate apparel, providing forward-looking guidance for product development and brand strategy planning, helping enterprises gain a competitive edge in the market.

This year’s expo will feature a dedicated charity livestreaming section, partnering with public welfare organizations and charities to host diverse charity activities. Through celebrity and influencer-led sales of high-quality intimate apparel, funds will be raised to support impoverished areas and vulnerable groups, promoting sustainable development in the industry.

The “Red Junk Cup” International Intimate Apparel Design Competition, successfully held for two consecutive sessions, will continue this year with the introduction of an underwear designer competition. This will attract elite designers from Guangdong and across the nation, fostering the integration of fashion creativity and commercial trade, and writing a splendid new chapter for the industry’s development.
