Jim Kreinbrink, the founder of Hyper Dog Media is organizing the much-awaited marketing event of the year-AgencyCon. The event will be held in Colorado from September 23rd -24th. The conference will have a line-up of agency experts, workshops, meaningful discussions and networking opportunities. As a one of its kind event for marketing firms, AgencyCon will enable the attendees to gain knowledge from expert speakers, build connections, and gain insights that actually help them grow.

In this exclusive interview Jim Kreinbrink talks in detail about his upcoming event for marketing firms.

Interviewer: Give us a brief of your background.

Jim Kreinbrink: I started a digital agency 15 years ago, focused on SEO (search engine optimization). We changed as SEO changed, embracing content marketing, advertising, and more. We realized one day that we too had become a digital agency. We had all of the growth pains, client struggles, and everything.

Interviewer: Tell us something about your upcoming event AgencyCon?

Jim Kreinbrink: It’s a smaller conference focused on networking and collaboration. Our speakers are experienced agency coaches, founders and executives. Having them share their experiences, leading workshops, and providing actionable takeaways.

Interviewer: What can the marketing firms expect from this event?

Jim Kreinbrink: Every speaker provides presentations that attendees can act on, with case studies and actionable steps broken down for attendees. As busy agency executives, it’s vital to providing good information. AgencyCon is bucking the trend of among conferences: So many are becoming generic, baseless and useless. We insist on advanced material that is practical.

We don’t allow selling from the podium. Our sponsors are able to join in the conference fully, but where they have speaking slots, attendees will not hear sales pitches. We also do not have sponsors stuck behind exhibit room tables – these folks get to sit, attend and network alongside attendees. It means building better relationships for everyone.

Interviewer: Who is eligible to participate in this event?

Jim Kreinbrink: Anyone who is a founder, executive, or in some other leadership position of a digital or creative agency.

Interviewer: Who are the speakers lined up for the conference?

Jim Kreinbrink: We have so many great speakers and facilitators. Our keynote speakers really set us apart:
– Kelly Campbell is an Agency Growth Consultant
– Karl Sakas is an Author & Agency Advisor
– Karl Becker is a Sales Performance Consultant, Author & Speaker
– Leah Komaiko is a Storytelling Specialist
– Jacqueline Cook is a Chief Strategy Officer at an agency

Interviewer: Apart from the conference, what other experiences can the attendees have in Colorado?

Jim Kreinbrink: Breckenridge Colorado is one of the most beautiful places for a conference. Some attendees will hike, fish, rent a mountain bike, or even go whitewater rafting while visiting. It’s off-season for the resort, so it often feels like we have the whole place to ourselves. We have a Big Break the first day of the conference, just so that attendees can enjoy the surroundings. The town of Breckenridge is historic, and quite charming: During the Big Break, many attendees have lunch together and walk around downtown.

Interviewer: What are the topics that’ll be covered in this conference?

Jim Kreinbrink:

The entire experience of growing an agency is covered at this conference:

• Business Development

• Sales and closing

• Operations, automation, and efficiency

• Employee attraction, hiring, retention and firing

• Client attraction, retention, and even firing

• Finances, cash flow, and collections

• Selling your agency

Interviewer: Tell us something about the schedule and accommodation facilities of the conference?

The schedule lends itself to networking, inspiration, and education. The first day, we have a Big Break from noon to 4pm for enjoying the resort, checking email, networking, and some sponsors such as Ometrics offer free conversion optimization audits during that time. When we return, the conference goes into the evening. The facilities at Beaver Run Resort are wonderful: The mountain view from our conference room is inspirational, and we’ve seen a family of Moose walk by during one of the conference networking events.
