dhoni2New Delhi, Friday, October 17 – Cricket contests are exciting enough for the reason that level of unpredictability is huge in this sport. A single wicket or a biggie could make the entire difference. The audience had witnessed a number of nerve-wracking matches in the recent past wherein the whole scenario got changed on the final ball. Until and unless the final outcome isn’t observed, nothing can be said surely that who is going to win or lose the match.

As India and West Indies gear up for the fourth One-Day International match, which kicks off at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, after a few hours, the audience anticipates amazing show between the two teams. The reason behind such expectation is the previous result that made the guest and host to be at an equal spot. West Indies pocketed a victory in the first ODI, while India made the contest interesting by winning the second one. Since, Visakhapatnam ODI was called off due to poor weather conditions, all eyes are struck on today’s match, which will decide which squad leads in the ongoing series and makes its place stronger.

In view of the fact that the last ODI is to take place on Monday, October 20, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, the ‘men in blue’ are supposed to leave no stone unturned to win Friday’s game, to get the psychological advantage in this format before they move closer to the final match. If Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s ‘playing XI’, which consist of both experienced and inexperienced players, seal a victory at this stage then it would surely add to the morale, which is extremely essential for the current tournament and cricket carnival which starts early next year.

More than a few blinders are expected from Indian team as the combination of efficient batsmen, bowlers and fielders in the team is perfect. Presence of Kuldeep Yadav, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Akshar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Amit Mishra, Mohammed Shami, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, skipper Dhoni and Virat Kohli is enough to put pressure on the minds of rivals. Having a deep batting lineup and some key and part time blowers, India are definitely at a strong position. But at the same time, Dwayne Bravo led West Indies can’t be considered weak at any cost especially at a time when they gave a good start to 5-match ODI series, inflicting 124-run defeat on Dhoni’s squad at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi, last week. Chances of winning are equal for both the teams.

Even though it might be a tad difficult for the guest to beat India at home, WI could turn up the things in their favor given they are familiar with foreign conditions and pitch thanks to massive experience they earned during Indian Premier League matches. If recent reports are to be believed then good gathering in the stadium is expected. Indian supporters are all set to cheer for their team the moment ball is sent into the fences or wicket is taken. Live telecast of the match will be aired at 2:30 pm.
