delhi weather- morningNew Delhi, Monday, October 13 – Delhiites are enjoying morning chills from past few days. A slight respite from searing heat at least during the early hours has brought huge relief for the masses. However, days are yet hotter and will take some more time to let people have a break from sunlit noontime. If truth be told, mild weather conditions prior to sunup are giving the hint that winter season may knock the door anytime.

Despite the fact that intensity in the heat still remains, eyes can’t be taken off the fact that soothing winter sets in and the feel of the same is prominent during morning time. Residents of the national capital, along with many other cities are waking up to a cool mornings from last 4 to 5 days. Though time to get wrapped in layers hasn’t arrived but none can predict about sudden change in the weather conditions. In view of the fact that sky may be a little bit cloudy, chances of bearing the brunt of precipitation for next few days are higher. No signs of rain are visible for the entire week, however, mercury may drop to considerable extent.

If recent reports about the weather are to be mentioned then maximum and minimum temperatures are supposed to be 33 degree Celsius and 23 degree Celsius. These may drop to 27 degree Celsius and 19 degree Celsius by the end of this week. The speed of wind will vary in the range of 6 and 14 km per hour, adding to comfort for the inhabitants, who had to think twice prior to stepping out of the house. Since popular Hindu festivals are to fall soon, people are leaving no stone unturned to enjoy them in gentle environment. Here is to mention that residents of Delhi and NCR regions celebrated Dussehra in the midst of hot and humid climate. They were left with no option but to keep wiping away the sweat. Scenario is going to be a tad different this time given soothing temperatures are probable to take the joy factor and festivity mood to next level.

At a stage where Delhiites are waiting to get rid of extreme heat during mid-day, people of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha geared up to keep themselves safe from cyclone Hudhud, which struck east coast of the nation with horrible intensity a day ago. The storm has already claimed 5 lives. Efforts are being made to avoid anymore causalities. Rescue and relief operations by armed forces and disaster management are likely to be major help for the general public.
