India – September 28th, 2021 – The pandemic has brought to the forefront the need for better mental health globally. As the world continues to deal with the challenges posed by COVID, it’s become imperative to build resiliency by developing an ecosystem that marries the ease of technology and wisdom of psychology.

Keeping in mind this need a India based mental health startup The Mind Curry has literally bootstrapped its way into providing AI powered mental health services to therapists, counsellors & patients.

Founded in August 2020, by Chaitali Gursahani & Tathagat Sharma, this startup is working on helping mental health professionals to serve better and grow their business, while also helping patients and people to interact, get help and become curious of mental health globally, through an AI enabled community platform. For this year The Mind Curry is aiming towards – team expansion, product development, and focussing on community-building efforts.

The mission as their founders state is to redesign the idea of mental health by generating curiosity among people about the long term benefits of mental health and to take stock of how deeply it affects every area of our lives; thereby moving them towards seeing their emotional health as vital as physical health.

The Mind Curry hopes to achieve this by catering to therapists and counsellors first. For this purpose, The Mind Curry has developed an AI powered solution and platform that allows therapists to cater to their clients seamlessly. The platform will be available across the web, Android and Ios.

They are also making The Mind Curry a platform for people to share their learning of how they dealt with emotional problems in their daily lives so as to help others resonate and move in the direction of healing.

Most of us discard the simple techniques and opt for complex ones, thinking that mental health has to be a serious subject. However, the founders believe that this needs to change. “Our job, other than counselling, is also to ignite interest in mental health and at the same time make it less burdensome for the professionals. The idea is to grow as a whole” says the team of The Mind Curry.
